I am a Maintenance Fitter & Turner. My work experience is mostly maintaining production lines of factories e.g. the textile industry.
What Makes Attie Unique
I am the quintessential MacGyver, saving a company time and money by problem solving or even inventing parts to reduce future down time on production runs. In any production line, the machinery starts showing wear and tear over time. These issues are not evident when designing the production line. I create solutions that prevent, as far as is possible, that issue from recurring too often. A production line that isn’t producing… loses money – My training is old school therefore I apply time tested methodologies when problem solving.
On A Personal Note
Work ethic: I am never late for work. I only rest during tea breaks and lunch time. When things are a bit quiet, I don’t stand around doing nothing because this would be stealing from the company, so I am always productive during work hours. I love playing my musical instruments, I enjoy various mechanical hobbies and I love going out with my wife for breakfast or coffee over the weekend.
